I'm a data professional with an uncommon background: eight years building data systems and analytics pipelines alongside six years working inside FAA-regulated airspace operations. I started in aviation as a line service technician, earned my private pilot and instrument rating, then moved into operational control for a helicopter air ambulance fleet where I was responsible for real-time risk analysis across weather, airspace, and regulatory factors.
That experience shaped how I think about data quality — in aviation, bad data at the wrong moment has consequences. Today I build conversational BI tools, RAG applications, and analytics dashboards at General Dynamics, applying the same rigor to every pipeline I design. Whether it's an API that generates code-based insights without exposing raw data to an LLM, or a Tableau dashboard that leadership depends on, I care about getting the details right.
Outside of work, I build full-stack projects that scratch my own itch — live aircraft tracking platforms, game server infrastructure, and community tools. I'm driven by the belief that the best data work starts with understanding the problem deeply before writing a single query.
